For several years, the Centre Orthopedic SANTY is treating many elite athletes and in particular professional footballers from France and other European countries and is also in charge of the players of Olympique Lyonnais. The team of sports specialists includes 12 surgeons, physicians specialized in sports medicine, musculoskeletal radiologists, physiotherapists, specialist in physical rehabilitation and personal trainers who provide our professional athletes with specialized services necessary to return them to their pre-injury level of performance. There is also technical support center for conducting physiological assessment, investigations and isokinetic treatments. The centre has actively collaborated with F-Marc for implementing the 11+ in France with Olympique Lyonnais.

The Research and Education centre located within the Santy center provides an environment in which high quality research can flourish. Within the centre our clinical fellows have access to a computer room with internet services, research room and a meeting/presentation room. The research centre has a research and educational secretary who provides the necessary support for all our academic projects. The centre is known throughout the world for its research into the causes and treatment of sports injuries. Dr G Walch is internationally acclaimed for his research into treatment of complex shoulder injuries.
